Well needless to say this quilt never quite got finished. I oh so wanted to make Lettie a baby quilt, remember she's three now, but I wouldn't allow myself because this one wasn't finished. I make up these crazy rules in my head.
Well last Sunday I got tired of looking at it. It was taunting me. So I showed it who was boss. An hour l and half later the sewing machine and I won. Yes I know it's a "crime" to use a sewing machine to quilt but I don't care. It's done and it makes me happy. 
I had so much fun picking out the fabrics and even piecing this quilt but not the top quilting. Way to time consuming with little results. Yes I realize this is probably a character flaw of mine but that's for a different day. Well I'm taking her advise, "there is no wrong or right way to make a quilt."

Very cute. So are you going to make another one for Violet or are you giving the quilt you already have done to her??
I don't how if I'll make her one or not. I'd have to make the baby one too and fabric is kind of pricey:)
